Plain English summary: We collect only what we need to check your eligibility and file your claim. Your email text is sent to Anthropic's AI for analysis — a brief excerpt is logged for debugging. We capture your email address if you choose to share it. We don't sell your data.
When you paste airline email text into our checker, that text is sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) for analysis. We log a brief preview (the first 150 characters) of the email text for debugging and service improvement purposes. We do not store the full email text after analysis is complete. We do not use your email content for marketing.
If you choose to receive a reminder, get your result emailed, or submit a claim, we collect your email address. We use it to send you your result, claim status updates, and follow-up communications related to your claim. We do not send marketing emails without your separate consent.
If you submit a claim, we collect your first and last name to submit the refund request to the airline on your behalf.
If you provide a phone number, we may send claim status updates via SMS. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
If we recover a refund for you, we collect payment information through Stripe to charge our 20% success fee. We do not store your full card number — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe.
We log IP addresses, request timestamps, and basic usage data (such as whether a claim was eligible, which airline was involved) for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and service improvement. We do not link this data to personally identifiable information unless you have submitted a claim.
